Terms & Policies All website design services and images provided by Victoria's Shabby Cottage are subject to the following terms and condition. Payment for your design is acceptance of these terms and conditions.  Please scroll to the bottom of the page for policies on actual products and decor ordered.    PappaShop will not be held responsible for any agreement or contract you have with Victoria's Shabby Cottage. PappaShop Web Hosting is a separate and independently owned business.   Charges   Charges for services to be provided by Victoria's Shabby Cottage are clearly noted on each design page at www.victoriasshabbycottage.com.   All custom design services require payment  prior to commencement of work.  Once final design is approved design will be installed FREE on your Pappashop.com hosted web site.   If Victoria's Shabby Cottage is asked to redesign any element of a ready made website or changes to a custom  site after it's been approved  the client shall pay any stated fees for extras as described.    By purchasing any of our design products and services you are only purchasing the right to display the material with all credit links remaining in tact. Unless otherwise stated all Victoria's Shabby Cottage's designs are sold "as is" with no color changes or alterations outside of what is described. If you would like changes to a particular design - please e-mail us prior to purchasing the design.   We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover Charge Cards as well as payment through Paypal and Money Orders or Personal Checks.  Personal Checks must meet bank clearance before any design services or products will be sent out.    Copyright & Design Credit   Victoria's Shabby Cottage retains all copyright privileges on all images and designs tho unless an image was used that is copyrighted by an outside source such as another artist you do have permission to use our images for other purposes such as business cards, ebay, etc.. Client owns copyright to their own website content. Designs made using an outside source for images such as art by Debi Coules, Jill Serrao, Cherie Perry, or stock photos are subject to copyright laws by that particular artist.  The artist retains all copyright to all of the images  and the images cannot be used for other purposes without the express written permission of Victoria's Shabby Cottage as approved by the Artist.    Victoria's Shabby Cottage's copyright link must remain at the bottom of client's website design. To remove this link, there is a $100.00 fee to do so and any link from Victoria's Shabby Cottage to your site will be removed immediately.   Victoria's Shabby Cottage reserves the right to use or not use a thumbnail image of your finished site design on our portfolio page.   Termination & Refunds   Due to the digital nature of our design services, we are unable to issue refunds after your design has been delivered (by e-mail or installed on your site) or after 14 days of purchase whichever comes first. Victoria's Shabby Cottage reserves the right to refuse service to anyone based on our own judgement. Sites suitable for the general public only please.   Victoria's Shabby Cottage reserves the right to terminate any working contract with any client to be found in violation of any of the terms stated herein. If any client is found to be in violation of our Terms of Service there will be absolutely no refund issued. Termination of services by the client must be requested in a written notice and will be effective on receipt of such notice. There are no refunds due to the nature of this business's products or services. Email or telephone requests for termination of services will not be honored unless confirmed in writing.   Indemnification    Under no circumstances will Victoria's Shabby Cottage be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages resulting from client's website sales or lack thereof. Client is responsible for adding and promoting their own products and/or services.   Shipping Policy For Actual Goods (Not Web Designs) Shipping Time -- All  orders received for ready made items will be shipped within three days of purchase when at all possible but please allow two to three weeks for delivery of your items as some items will ship with a shipping service that arrives in 3 to 5 days and other items may be shipped by ground.  Made to Order Items are made AFTER the item has been ordered and are made to your specifications.  We require 2 to 3 weeks to make Made to Order Items NOT including the shipping time of your choice.  Custom ordered pieces may require more time which will be noted in the item description.  If at any time you would like to check on the status of your order just send us an e-mail and we will check it for you.   We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by Victoria's Shabby Cottage or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.  Please order "Made to Order" items knowing that it will require 3 to 4 weeks for delivery so plan ahead for holidays or gift giving.      Terms for Decor Items Purchased Returns If you have an item you would like to return please contact us within 48 hours of receipt of that item.  Item must be returned in original packaging and in original condition within seven days of receipt in order to qualify for store credit.  If you receive an item that has been damaged in shipment we will make every attempt to help you in resolving your claim with the shipping service used.  We cannot be responsible for damage caused to items by a shipper but we do insure all packages and will help you to recover your investment in any way that we can.  All shippers require that you keep the original box and packaging materials for their inspection before they will settle a claim so be sure to keep all the packaging with the item for their examination.  Most shipping services will settle the claim and issue a refund within 10 business days.  Made to Order items can only be returned for exchange or store credit as these items were made to your specifications.  Custom designs are not returnable including custom designed chandeliers, lamps or lighting.  Sale items are not returnable.  Shipping costs are not refundable.  We strive to provide you with the highest quality merchandise and an enjoyable and smooth shopping experience.  Custom-designed furnishings and other made-to-order items require payment in full upon order and because our artists craft these items and colors to your specifications, we cannot accept returns of custom items.
